I have been on a mission lately to come up with quick and easy meals that I can throw together during the week. Sometimes you just have to throw out the recipes and use your imagination. That is exactly how this easy beef stir fry came into being.
We are empty nesters and I have gotten to the point where I just hate to cook. We both work outside the home Monday thru Friday. I get home around 5pm and my hubby gets home at almost 6pm. Now you may think that the time gap between when we both get here gives me enough time to get a meal ready and you would be right. Did you miss the part where I said I hate to cook?

This beef stir fry recipe is easy to throw together and it has ended up being one of our favorite meals. I still don’t like to cook, but this makes the chore a little easier to bear.
Ingredients needed for Easy Beef Stir Fry
- 1 lb boneless beef chuck shoulder steak, thin cut
- 1 lb bag sugar snap pea stir fry (I used the Great Value brand from Walmart)
- 2 tbs sesame oil
- 1 tbs. minced garlic (I use already minced purchased from the grocery)
- 3 tbs PF Changs Home Menu Teriyaki Sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Let’s cook Easy Beef Stir Fry
Slice your beef chuck shoulder steak into 1/2 inch slices, heat 1 tbs of sesame oil in a skillet on med/high, add sliced beef, minced garlic, salt, and pepper and cook until desired doneness. This is beef so it can be left a little pink and it will make it more tender.
Once cooked place to the side.
Add the other tablespoon of sesame oil to pan and add the frozen sugar snap pea stir fry veggies. Cook until slightly tender. This mix is super yummy and I say that being a person that is not big on vegetables. It is a mix of sugar snap peas, broccoli, green beans, yellow squash, red peppers, carrots, yellow peppers and water chestnuts. Who doesn’t LOVE water chestnuts? The hubby and I fight over them when we have this dish. I don’t know what is about them, but I want them all to myself!
Once the vegetables are tender add the beef back in and stir to combine.
Add three tablespoons of the P.F. Chang’s Teriyaki Sauce stir completely to mix and allow to simmer on low for 10 minutes. This teriyaki sauce has soy sauce, pineapple juice concentrate, white wine, and ginger….YUM!
Dish it up and enjoy!
Easy Beef Stir Fry
- 1 lb boneless beef chuck shoulder steak thin cut
- 1 lb bag sugar snap pea stir fry
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbs minced garlic
- 3 tbsp PF Changs Teriyaki Sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Cut beef in 1/2 inch strips
add 1 tbsp sesame oil, beef, salt, pepper, and minced garlic to pan and cook to desired doneness. Set aside.
Add the other 1 tbsp of sesame oil and sugar snap pea stir fry to pan and cook until slightly tender.
- Add beef back to pan and stir to combine.
- Add 3 tbsp of PF Changs teriyaki sauce, stir mix well and simmer for 10 minutes on low heat.
Serve and enjoy. This recipe will make 4 servings and is great served as leftovers.
